ABOUT ME

I was a teacher both in the states and abroad for ten years, and it's been an amazing experience, as I've gotten to work with students from all over the world, but it's time for a change and so this fall I'll be going back to school to study clinical social work. I'm hoping to combine my interests in psychology and culture, and I after finishing my degree I plan on working at a university, working with international students.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet! But after hearing about the great experiences my friends have had, I'm looking forward to trying it out and making some new friends.

I love all things David Lynch; Wave, The Woman Upstairs, Americanah, and Cartwheel are books I've read in the past few months that I've enjoyed. Currently reading The Infatuations. I like Latiom music, reggaeton, bachata, cumbia, ect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done it yet but one day I will go scuba diving with whale sharks. They are the most amazing creatures.
