ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm an English Writer/Traveller/Teacher who enjoys following her feet to unfamiliar and exotic places. I love meeting new people, discovering cultures through the medium of food, laughing over a glass or wine (or any other local tipple), and learning languages (badly).

If I were an animal I would be a fierce she-wolf or a winged unicorn. If I were in a rock band I would play drums. If I were on Mastermind my specialist subject would be making terrible puns.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed in the past and hung out a lot at couchsurfing events so keen to get even more involved. I think it's much more personable than hostel-hopping, and I believe you only truly experience a country and/or a culture through it's people so it's the perfect way to travel.

兴趣

Good coffee, good wine, good books, great friends, the ocean, rude words in different languages, surprises, dancing, art, storms, museums, scrabble, city nights, gelato, skyscrapers, sunsets, writing and cold beers on the beach.

Participated in a Dragon Boat Regata with a team named the 'Dragonfruits,' with barely any training and wearing a hot pink uniform. The amazing thing was that we didn't come last.
