About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Embracing new experiences as they come
ABOUT ME
I am outgoing but not overbearing, a great listener and eater. I enjoy a good adventure even if it's exploring a new corner store in my neighborhood. A great day for me is hanging out with close friends, having a drink, watching a movie and cooking together. I love to travel, going to new places, meeting people and learning about cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
I love that feeling when you realize how small you are in this world but what an impact an individual can make. This is ultimately reflected in my art and who I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I excited to host and show people around my city. I look forward to becoming more involved in the CS community. I plan on traveling next year and would like to meet some people before I head out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only meet surfers that friends have hosted. Those have all been positive experience. I have a lot of friends who have traveled through CS and all have had awesome experiences. Hoping to flesh out this section in the near future!

Music, Movies, and Books
Read: George Saunders, Kurt Vonnegut, Jane Austen, Ann Lauterbach, Art Forum, Cabinet, The New Yorker
See: The Apartment, The Big Lebowski (and all other Coen Bros), Suspiria, Arrested Development, Walking Dead, My So Called Life. Outside of that I have a weakness for period costume dramas.
Hear: Jonathan Richman, Heavenly, Galaxie 500, Bauhaus, Taylor Swift (What?), A Tribe Called Quest, Carter Family, All radio including and especially Top 40, Rap and Country. I'd love to hear some of your music recommendations. I'm always interested in hearing something new.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in the Swiss alps outside of Zermatt. One of the best days I've ever had. My best friend, and I traveling separately meet for a week of travel in Switzerland and Germany. We hiked the Gornergrat, felt like a champ. Along out hike we frolicked in icy mountain water, had our path blocked by a heard of sheep and made friends with cows in an abandoned mountain town.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking and working in my garden sharing those skills is a joy. I do yoga fairly often and would love to practice with you!
I'm excited to learn what others have to offer in all aspects.
