ABOUT ME

I love to meet new people, see new places and experience different cultures. I have recently spent 6 months backpacking in South America for the first time. I am sociable, fun-loving and caring towards my family and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I thrive on the energy and experience of being fully conscious in the present moment. I appreciate simple pleasures in life, like a walk in a forest or a nice meal. I try to learn from other people, I think everyone has something they can teach you.

When I am travelling I like to meet local people to find out about how they live, their interests and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have connected with other Couchsurfers in different ways - firstly by chance, then at a fabulous couchsurfing new year's eve party, and also I have stayed with a couple of lovely hosts in Argentina. I'm looking forward to having more couchsurfing experiences.

Interests

I love being close to nature - animals, trees, flowers, forests, mountains, the sea... I enjoy dancing, long walks, cycling, yoga, pilates, meditation, cooking, socializing with friends and meeting new people, cinema, reading, painting, playing piano, practicing languages, and of course travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fantasy stuff like Lord of the Rings books and films, recently got into the Twilight films, comedies like The Hangover, musicals like Chicago and Moulin Rouge, some Disney classics like Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast, Italian film Life is Beautiful, French film Amelie. I am interested to read books about Latin America, like Open Veins of Latin America and Marching Powder. I love reading books about spirituality and consciousness, e.g. Paulo Coelho, Eckhart Tolle, classics e.g. Jane Austen, Alexandre Dumas, Charles Dickens, and fantasy / science fiction e.g. Terry Pratchett, Arthur C. Clarke. Also classic children's stories like Winnie the Pooh and Heidi for comfort reading.
I like many different kinds of music, e.g. Manu Chao, Abba, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Bjork, Morcheeba, David Guetta, Tinie Tempah, Paul Simon, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Led Zepellin, jazz and blues, piano music such as Debussy and Chopin and all kinds of other random stuff.
