HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only just started using Couchsurfing and am looking forward to meeting some interesting people during my travels and being able to return the favour once i am settled in Europe or back in Aus

There are so many great experiences when travelling and i enjoy both the mix of culture/sightseeing and partying although i believe the mix of people you meet along the way have a huge impact.

My top picks from this year would be:
- making it to Nordkapp to see the midnight sun even though it ended in a blizzard with the clouds covering the sun
- When visiting Laos this year i passed through Kong Lo caves, this is such a beautiful town and due to a rainy day i managed to be the only tourist when going through the caves with 2 local Laos men. The complete calm and quiet while passing through the massive black space was exactly the break i needed from the beaten track.
- Full moon party Thailand... i was a bit hesitant with this being a very mainstream trip for Aussies but i was pleasantly surprised.
- Mykonos my top party pick for Europe so far (i haven't made it to Ibiza yet though!)
