Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will have my first couchsurfing experience in Peru next week. I'll let you know how it goes. . . I have always loved connecting with people from different cultures and probing them for information . . . How does there world view differ from mine? What can I learn from them? What is their life like? The most fascinating stories in the world are probably sitting next to you on the bus.

Interests

Almost anything. Seriously. From spiders to snowboarding to geology, the world is a fascinating place and I am her captive audience. I don't like talking to extremely selfish people, but maybe that just shows that I am a little selfish myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled the world to meet the man of my dreams at my hometown grocery store. We are now married and I fall more in love with him every day. I have climbed mountains, gazed on Yosemite under a fresh snow fall, seen the Taj Mahal and had a yelling match with a howler monkey. I have chased down a wild tiger on the back of an elephant and looked into it's fierce eyes. I have said I love you in three different languages and meant it. I look forward to what lies ahead.
