About Me
CURRENT MISSION
You shall love your crooked neighbor with your crooked heart.
ABOUT ME
I love to read and write (especially poetry). I love thrift stores and tattoos. I collect votive candles. I can be shy when I'm in a large group, but I love getting to know people in small groups.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm trying, I promise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived in Chicago I hosted somewhere around 20 surfers from all over the world. I've hosted less in Baltimore (grad school can be hectic!) but I still love opening up my home when life allows it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I unexpectedtly (but serendipitously) hosted a group of four couchsurfers, each from a different country. They were a blast, and it was awesome to be able to help out when their hostel turned them away.
Interests
Writing, reading, people watching, hiking, and occassionally sewing and knitting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being beaten with birch branches by my friend's hefty Russian mom in a banya was both terifying and incredibly relaxing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk about poetry until the cows come home, and I'm happy to teach new friends how to make up their very own dirty limericks.
