Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was in a coma almost all of 2019 and I’m fighting my way back. I’m almost there and I’m traveling again. But my budget is ridiculously constricted because while I was asleep I lost almost everything I had and now I’m on a very fixed disability income. Helping me travel again and use traveling to regain my strength and stamina would be a great gift and that’s why I’m here.

Nothing keeps me more motivated than exploring and learning about new people, their lives and new locations and cultures. It’s the best thing in the world.

I can teach cooking from my country or share great companionship and fun times. I also have business and marketing skills which I could trade some advice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to make myself useful in any way that I can be. I have a lot of business and marketing experience and also social media experience. Those are the types of things I might be able to give somebody pointers on. I’m always up to babysit a few children or be a companion to somebody’s elderly parent.

To be honest, I have spent what is now getting close to 40 years as a backpacking type of traveler. So, I’m willing to figure out anything that works for both of us to be happy and enjoy each other.
