ABOUT ME

I currently live in Long Beach near downtown. I know the city pretty well and would love to show it off. Mostly I love the people I have come to know here in the city. I am in love with the creativity and talent that I have come across here. There are so many things to share with travelers that are interested in subculture of sharing and activism in the city. We as a community have established about 5 community living situation, free food sharing that feed most of us, foodScape which teaches and is active in food sustainability (foodscapelb.com), Food Not Bombs, The Time Exchange and many other awesome things we are taking apart of in terms of community building and networking. But there are many other great things I can share like the music culture, and Yoga at the beach.

I was gone most of the summer traveling on trains, buses, ride-shares,bicycle, and airplanes from state to state expanding my knowledge of the American culture and familiarizing myself with more of this world. It was truly a great experience. I met a lot of interesting people and came across life changing experiences. I definitely expanded my couchsuf network when I was traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted in the past and surfed a few spots when I was traveling. I hope to host people soon when we get some room in my house of 7 beautiful people. I would love to show people around Long Beach and take them to activities that go on here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed around the country while traveling this summer. I met so many great people through CS. I live with seven people and hosted many of their, and mine, traveling friends in the past. I do plan to host again relatively soon when we can figure out where surfers can sleep. It can usually happen when one of us is gone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled the country via hitchhiking, buses, trains, and airplanes. I planned very little and just took the opportunities that were presented. I didn't know where I would end up but figured out where my home was in the process.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am creative and would love to share creativity and ideas. I want to teach what I have learned in community building and would love to learn from other on what they have done or seen in their home town. I want to learn from your traveling stories and teach what I have learned as well.
