About Me

Hi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like meeting people and I like traveling, and meeting new people while I travel, and I like things that are free (as in I like both giving and receiving). When I get settled myself I will be happy to host people and show them around town. It makes traveling so much more personal. Couchsurfing unites people cultures and ideas. I think couch surfing is a good good thing in the world.

None. New to couch surfing, but I'm doin it!

Interests

I love instruments and languages (which to me are sort of the same thing) I could play music and study language all day long. I like conversations with people and I like practicing accents that I hear.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Flaming Lips, Of Montreal, The Cranberries, Radiohead, Iron and Wine, Seabear, Asgeir Trausti, Ratatat, TRIO GARUFA, Atmosphere, Pink Floyd.
I love movies so much. One movie that I have really liked recently is Chocolat, because it is really good and what-not. I love Firefly and could watch it at any moment.
I also love to read. John Steinbeck is my favorite. Cormac Mcarthy is intense but I love his words, and Jane Austin. Im reading a Tom Hardy book right now that is pretty interesting and I have a zombie-apocolypse book written by my friend next on my reading list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have decided to take a break from the university. This has completely opened up my life for discovery. I have a love/hate relationship with post-structuralism and I wrote a really cool paper last semester attempting to deconstruct the opposition of literal/figurative language.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook and I would be happy to to cook for them (provided that they are not picky eaters). We can share words!
