CURRENT MISSION
taking advantage of what life has to offer; porque no??
ABOUT ME
I just graduated from a small liberal arts school in Walla Walla, Washington, USA. I'm teaching English for a year in Japan. I thought it would be exotic and challenging. It certainly is the latter, although I find myself in a rural little spot that actually reminds me a lot of the small town I left behind a few months ago. I love travelling, I can be a silly person and I love to party, but I'm deep underneath. I love to meet people from all walks of life, and hear people's stories. I'm a huge English lit nerd; if you like a book, I've probably read it, and if I haven't, you can bet it's going on my Life List. I'm also obsessed with dogs and going to the beach; I'm a pretty laid back person generally content to just go with the flow.
PHILOSOPHY
Por.Que.No. It means, why not? And I adopted this life philosophy after almost dying multiple times while living in Viet Nam. Things were really different, really scary, but I eventually learned to confront every situation with a knee-jerk, "Por que no?"This philosophy changed my life. It led to an amazing, unforgettable journey that led me through southeast asia, south america, across the united states and finally to a new perception of myself, one that I really like. Por que no????!
