About Me
Hi,
In a nutshell I suppose I would say that I love the outdoors, backpacking, random adventure, trying new things as well the occasional a cosy night in. I have recently returned from 4 months backpacking (from December 2012) around south east Asia and Australia which was an amazing experience but there's still so much more to see. I am trying to find somewhere to carry on learning fire poi in the UK, it's so much fun.
I love to be in the great outdoors whether it is sat beside a camp-fire watching the stars or going for a walk and exploring. I enjoy snowboarding, hill walking, photography, yoga, watching live music, good DVDs and camping. I also enjoy trying to organically grow vegetables and foraging for things to make meals, preserves or drinks. Foraging is like a treasure hunt :) I would one day love to have or build an eco house.
Random adventures are always good fun. I would say I am a try anything once kind of person and in the past have spent a week learning to solo paraglide, done a skydive, swam with phosphorescence plankton, done a straw bale house building course and a wilderness survival week. I love to experience new things and gain new skills.
I really want to do more traveling/backpacking so if anyone would want to come and explore with me that would be awesome. It's great to try and see the real side of a country, to learn about different cultures and try and go off the beaten track.
