ABOUT ME
Fun and friendly person, up for adventures, eating delicious foods and having a good chat!
PHILOSOPHY
The people who mind don't matter, and the people who matter don't mind.
and..
Do what you enjoy doing!
You may see from my photos, I do enjoy to jump around the world. I understand this is now quite clichéd, but I do not care and will continue to do so, and encourage others to, as it is FUN! :)
I have met some amazing people in my travels, one couple in particular when I was climbing a mountain in Borneo in 2008. They asked me to take their photo, after a nice one of them standing, I made them jump. They now continue this tradition and a few years ago I took a jumping photo of them on their wedding day in India :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined in 2006, however never actually got involved until 2012/13 when my flat mates in Amsterdam began hosting. I realised I needed to get back into this! Since then have hosted off and on Sydney.
Interests
As just about everyone who is on couchsurfing - I do love to travel :)
Apart from that though.. I have many interests, as long as it is interesting ;)
I recently set up a sharing library in Sydney - the Inner West Tool Library. Been great fun volunteering and learning about all things sharing.
I studied Sustainable Development, which I find fascinating. I love to discuss this with anyone, especially people who have lived elsewhere in the world, and experienced a different upbringing to myself. There are many ways of living out there, and the more we communicate, the more ideas we can come up with, and hopefully follow through with some of them!
Also - I love a good morning coffee. Always puts a smile on my face.
