About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm often traveling for lengthy periods of time in search of stories. I prefer to meet people who live in a place, and spend time seeing that place from their point of view, rather than staying in a hotel, where the experience is curated by me. I'm working on several books, and also run a literary travel journal out of London, Panorama: The Journal of Intelligent Travel.

I think helping other people daily-in both small ways and larger ways--is the key to happiness. It's important to be who you say you are, to stand up for what is important, to educate yourself, and to not take anything for granted.

Connection is the most important part of being human: connecting to others, connecting to the landscape, and connecting to yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I thrive meeting new people and having a more personal experience of a town or city. Locals are a window to place, and I enjoy learning and exchanging. It's a two way street, and a beautiful one.
