ABOUT ME

Without using any 'crossroad' cliches, it's pretty fair to say I'm currently in a life transition period. I recently completed a BA in History, which has consumed most of my life - and a lot of my passion - for the past three years. Now that I've finished, I'm in the process of remembering all the interests I had before they were put aside for academic study.

I love people and I love travel. I know that these two interests are something I want to combine in the future, be it through journalism, the media, travel writing, NGO work or academia. I love discovering new things, personally or through conversation and debate. I take people seriously, but try not to do the same with life.

PHILOSOPHY

It changes from day to day. Often it just disappears altogether.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this stage, I'd love to use couch surfing to enable me to travel more freely, and on an appropriate 'recent undergraduate' budget. I also think it's a great way to meet people you might not otherwise meet, and see places in a way they might not otherwise be seen. When I've set myself up in my own place, I'll definitely get involved in hosting travellers myself.
