About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Le Mission: to push my boundaries; invite change and new possibilities; laugh until my face hurts; love fiercely and fearlessly
ABOUT ME
Who am I? The ever evolving question...... Well, I've got a big heart and a huge laugh. I love to DANCE, adventure, take photos, hike, read, volunteer for music festivals, operate heavy equipment (like fork lifts), road trips, drink tea and tequila, costuming and the list goes on. I'm pretty laid back and easy going, a seasoned Burner and excited to find out what's next on the horizon. Home base is Portland, OR where I'm incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the BEST of friends and an AWESOME community. I can be a little shy in group settings with new people, but I do well one on one.
PHILOSOPHY
Have faith in yourself. Be brave enough to wear your heart on your sleeve. Remember to breathe. Let your freak flag fly!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently traveling, surfing and working on the road, but I expect to get more involved with hosting in the Portland community once I get and actually stay home for a while. I enjoy sharing information about where I live and helping non-English speakers practice if they are interested. As a woman that has traveled solo internationally, I like sharing my CS experiences with other women and hopefully inspire them to use CS in the future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm lucky enough to have two little girls in my life, the children of a close friend. They are truly magical beings, not to mention crazy smart, funny, creative and challenging. I'm really grateful to be a part of their lives and look forward to watching them grow!
Three months of traveling solo in South America! AMAZING!!!
Living, growing, changing and loving in this crazy world!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not the kind of person that easily walks up to strangers and starts a conversation. Traveling solo forces me to operate outside of my comfort zone in order to interact with the world around me and CS is a great facilitator!
I enjoy meeting and talking with people that have never encountered someone from the United States. I am a US citizen, but the US government, foreign policy, corporate empire and Hollywood media model doesn't really represent who I am. Blowing open stereotypes is pretty fun!
