i'm just having a nice time learning and hopefully helping others to learn too. i enjoy films, literature, making things, being outdoors and generally trying to be creative and productive. I like interesting conversations and discussions with new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

every now and again i use couch surfing to meet people and its always turned out great. i'm not a regular user but would like to participate more in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have surfed quite a few couches in Finland, Sweden, iceland, new zealand, australia, canada, mexico and the USA. some of which i have used the couch surfing website to discover. its a great idea and the website makes it so much easier to meet lovely people.

Interests

making things with my hands (especially clothing), costume and prop design and construction, dabbling in guitar, singing, double bass...(any old thing i can get my hands on) reading, walking, theatre, sleeping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lynch, almodovar, jodorowsky, godard, Kubrick, Greenaway. that type of thing in terms of film although i try to just watch as much as possible of all sorts.

i like electronica, italo disco, minimal techno etc. plus shoegaze stuff, classical, lots of contemporary jazz.

i enjoy reading plays and looking at characterisation for costume ideas plus modern classics in literature.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach people the extreme basics of a number of musical instruments. and try to teach people english if they want to learn.
also i can teach lots of craft type things and generally how to make stuff.
