About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world and meet some amazing people people along the way
ABOUT ME
I was raised in a small ski resort town/community. I went to university in Colorado and have since lived in New York City and San Francisco. I am fascinated with different lifestyles, cultures, and people and have decided to leave my job for 7 months to travel the world, gain some new experiences, and make some amazing friends along the way!
PHILOSOPHY
Sing like no one's listening, dance like no one is watching and live each day like it will be your last.
Live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to help those traveling through San Francisco save money on lodging and enjoy their time in SF, while also meeting new people, and building an international network of friends. When I surf, I'm hoping to stay with locals to understand the people, the culture and the lifestyle better while making interesting and wonderful friends along the way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted several people and have stayed with several couch surfers thus far and my experience has been nothing but amazing! Everyone I've met has been kind, welcoming, generous, and interesting. Thank you Couch Surfing for the opportunity to meet such amazing people!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music especially finding songs by new artists that I've never heard before! I am a sissy when it comes to horror movies so I tend to stay away from them however I love romantic comedies and action-packed dramas. Some of my favorites are: Man on Fire, How To Loose a Guy in 10 Days, The Holiday, Superbad, Love and Basketball, etc. I enjoy reading anything and everything so if you have any book recommendations, I'll need a few for my several upcoming flights! The book I just finished was A Thousand Splendid Suns. It was heart wrenching and humbling at the same time!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving with Chris, Watching the US Olympic Finals ice hockey game in Salt Lake City, walking the Great Wall of China, seeing the Tokyo subway cars get filled during rush hour (it's truly AMAZING), Versailles, camping in the Okavango and almost being eaten by a hippo, standing on top of the sand dunes in Soussevlei and soaking in the sun, feeding 15,000 starving people in Northern Kenya... and the list continues.
