About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Prolonging my vagabond lifestyle even while holding a steady job

ABOUT ME

Trained in translation and international development, I like to keep planning to a minimum and mobility to a maximum.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the opportunity to host and be hosted. Loved every experience! I move a lot and travel a lot, so all depends on timing, but happy to help people out and show people around when I can.

Please keep in mind this is not just free lodging and most certainly not a dating site. The spirit of Couchsurfing is about sharing and respect.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the CS concept and the people I've met through it. I find it refreshing that there are other people out there who will still trust strangers! Openness is one thing I find most couchsurfers share regardless of whether or not there are common interests. That's enough for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running from the desert to the sea in Senegal, my first opera, every time I hike up a ridge in Big Sur and look back down at the Pacific

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages, so this is a big one. I've taught French and English! My Russian could certainly use some practice. I also love yoga and can lead small informal classes if that's an interest. I can share my experience with distance running and how I went from having knee problems to running marathons (at a moderate pace though!).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wine, stories, laughter
