Overview
About Me
I have been moving around a lot the past 5 years, and looking back the unifying thread has been the mountains. I love living right at the edge of the mountains, especially if there is water involved. White winters bring stark beauty and introspection, time to slow down and cozy up inside. Summers are lush, rashes of wildflowers, picking wild berries, digging in the garden, and endless time for play and exploration.
I love animals, making prayers in my kitchen, and transforming what nature gives us into medicine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to help travelers by taking them in and hearing their stories. I like being part of a community that is based on kindness and trust and it warms my heart to meet so many lovely people, either in my home or on the road.
I haven't been able to open my home up to others as much as I'd like to due to housemates (and a long stint without internet) but would love to start doing that again.

Watching the moonrise while my friend played didge whilst sitting in the Wizard Tub at some desert hot springs.
Lived in a yurt working with goats & bees at a farm high up in the mountains near Big Sur, CA right on the ocean
Teach, Learn, Share
I have knowledge on herbal & nutritional healing - making teas, poultices, salves, capsules etc and preparing healthy delicious meals. Always down to learn more about these things, and about permaculture, culture, and whatever random tidbits you have to throw my way.
