About Me

Hello world! My name is Amy. I'm originally from the Los Angeles area, moved to Florida for a short while and am now currently living in Northern California. Ever since I was young, my mother and I would explore every weekend and that began my love for visiting new locations. There is so much in the world that I would love to experience during our short time on this incredible planet.

This summer, myself and my best friend are jumping on a plane and heading to Ireland for two weeks. We hope to see amazing sights, meet amazing people and make incredible memories during our journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting people wherever I go. I believe this is a great site to help achieve that. I learned that during my last trip, if it wasn't for Couchsurfing I wouldn't have made nearly as many memories as if I stayed by myself in a hotel.

I would love to be able to host surfers at one point in the future to try to give back as many memories as I have received during my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am pretty open minded with almost all music, movies and books.

I tend to lean towards fantasy books that are part of a series, enjoy movies that I can get completely immersed in and music that I can roll down my windows and sing to...and no, I can't sing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I traveled through the United States by myself. I explored about 30 states in 30 days.

I graduated from a program known as the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program (EATM) where I trained and worked with a multitude of different exotic animals from an ocelot, baboon, mountain lion and many others. I have also had the opportunity to work with the dolphins Winter, Hope and Nicholas when I was living in Florida.
