We are a simple country family and country people. We love life and are trying to enjoy it to the fullest showing our kids there is more to it then what society thinks is normal living.

We are interested in self-sufficiency, green living, natural building, farming, and gardening. We like to blacksmith, do leather work, learn primitive skills, and are very active in the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My husband 2 boys and I took a 7 week road trip out west from West Virginia living out of our car, tent, and a few couchsurfing stays. It was a trip of a lifetime and we cant wait to do it again.
