ABOUT ME

I'm a west-coaster at heart living in DC. I've been here for 5 years and am slowly growing attached. I have a day job as a music librarian, teach music lessons during the school year and perform music in the evenings as much as I can. I love to travel overseas and would be doing that exclusively if I were independently wealthy.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies - I'm a sometimes junkie. I'll go through phases where I watch 5 movies a week, then abstain for months. Indie and foreign films are a plus.
Music - I dabble in pop/rock/jazz/showtunes/hip-hop/club/techno/fusion, but my first love will always be classical - esp. late romantic orchestral and opera and Bach.
Books - I'm an avid reader - favorite authors include Barbara Kingsolver, Jeanette Winterson, Orhan Pamuk, Herman Hesse, Annie Proulx...
