About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to enjoy life, which starts with enjoying people.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 20 something not ready to settle down/be an adult. I've recently moved to Jeju to experience the finer things in life: warm weather, food, and drink. I am fond of learning, teaching, and enjoying.
PHILOSOPHY
"We're here for a good time not a long time"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participated in couchsurfing (hosting and being a guest) when I lived/travelled Europe in 2010. It was a fantastic experience, and I met some pretty amazing people. I believe the couchsurfing community consists of some extraordinary people and I would love nothing more than to contribute again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of the most valuable piece of information I have ever learned came from a couch surfer who was staying with friends of mine while we were living in Galway. He said something along the lines of "I travel because I see life as a jar of marbles; we start with a jar full of the same colour. Every time we meet someone, and exchange a thought or idea we are exchanging a marble. My goal is to have the most multicolour jar that I can." I paraphrase.. but you get the idea.
Interests
I like whiskey, horses and horseback riding, sports, eating, reading, music, going out, playing games, exploring, and laughing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love alternative rock, indie-folk, or just plain folk. Also dabble in the classical when the mood is right. I listen to some electronic/house stuff when going out but I mainly like to keep it chill.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's difficult to quantify amazing but if I had to pick my favourite memory travelling it would be when I lived in Galway, Ireland for a summer. Friends and I found an abandoned castle called Menlo along the riverbank and camped in it for a night. There's much more to the story. If you are interested, just ask me in person :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing is neat because it allows you to exchange information with someone who perhaps has lived a very different life than your own. It allows you to gain understanding through the eyes of someone who has witnessed first hand; something you could have never understood from standing where you are, from a distance. Perspective, this is what I want to share.
