My History:
I was born and raised in rural 'cowboy' Montana, now live in California during wintertime and Colorado during summertime. I must live in warm weather in order to work. I love to be outside. I am a golf instructor, so spend most of my life outdoors. I'm a go-go-go kind of person, it's hard for me to sit still. Travel is a passion because you don't have to stop moving!

My Travel:
I have traveled solo to 22 countries so far. Solo is so fun because it's so easy to meet people! I love meeting up with local people when I travel and that's my purpose for using Couchsurfing. I think hostels are SO fun so I rarely will request to stay on anyone's couch, mostly to hang out with people who know the city I'm visiting. Making friends while traveling is great. I also lived abroad for a while in New Zealand.

Traveling Right Now:
In a few days I'm headed on a 5 week venture to Asia. Beijing, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. I really want to make some local friends in these places, so you might be hearing from me! :)

Walking the Camino de Santiago, finishing in Finesterra and standing at the 'end of the world' looking hundreds of feet below at the ocean, and realizing I walked 500 miles to get to that point.
