ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty quiet person, but I am starting to come into my own. For a first time meeting, I might seem a little awkward or weird, but I'll try to make you laugh. In December of 2012, I had an epiphany about life and happiness, so I'm starting to explore my thoughts a little bit more and do a lot more reading and dreaming. I am not where I want to be, but I now have a direction and a dream to make reality!

PHILOSOPHY

I have gone through a pretty routine life so far: fun childhood with lots of opportunities, did well in school, settled on a degree program before college due to a scholarship I received, graduated, moved away to start working an 8-5+ job, only to realize a couple years in that this may not be my path. My personal philosophy is find what makes you feel fulfilled, useful, and happy! I'm currently trying to develop my personal philosophy on life...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a couple great hosts while I was on a three-month road trip that took me through Nebraska, South Dakota, Montana, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. Wish I could do it again!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like most movies, but my favorites growing up would include Back to the Future Trilogy, Disney from the 80's and 90's, Gladiator, I am Legend, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Christmas Story, Jurassic Park.

Music: Love anything with a good dancing beat, indie, 80's, 90's, electronic/dance, funk, classic rock.... My 'starred' list on Spotify is quite diverse.

Books: I don't do a whole lot of reading, but Harry Potter. Others include Jurassic Park and The Lost World and classic novels about dystopian societies. Have been reading more non-fiction lately.

Dog-training. My dog would be amazing if I would put in just a little more effort. Right now he's only kinda trained.
