About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet locals and avoid tourist traps. Hotels keep travelers in a bubble and I think staying with a local is better way to experience life in another country. Also, I love making friends around the world so that I can take them on adventures when they visit wherever I happen to be living at the time (I move a lot).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Typically I'll stay with friends or family when I am traveling, but I have had the opportunity to use the site on occasions where neither were available. All experiences have been great!
Interests
Traveling (big surprise), wildlife, reading several books at a time and losing track of them, hiking, camping, eating, climbing, writing, watching/debating about TV, and starting random building/art projects that I keep telling myself I will finish one day. Also, I can honestly say that I enjoy murder mystery parties, and I won't apologize for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Technically, I can say I have been to a forbidden land.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I rehabilitate wild animals in my free time, and yes I do have adorable photos to share.
If cute animal pictures aren't your thing, I can offer an elaborately choreographed musical number, a few good stories, and a willing partner when you feel like trying something new. I am also prone to picking up extra pastries whenever I stop at a bakery, and any host will benefit from that :).
Countries I’ve Lived In
Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States
