About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To promote CS and unite the world

ABOUT ME

I'd like to think of myself as a pretty fun person. I am easily entertained by movies and board games but I also like to play sports (even if it is just for fun.) I have tried every hobby basketball, soccer (my favorite), boxing, hip hop, dance in general, checkers, Mario Kart.
I like to snowboard in the winter, tobaggon and ice skate. I love to go to concerts whenever I can, I am a big music buff. I would way rather be outside then inside any day in the summer. I tan easily so I don't get burnt. I am a very spontaneous person and like to do things on impulse. I like to go out for beers, it is a great way to catch up!

PHILOSOPHY

We are all dying to live and living to die. May as well make the best of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If someone needs a place to stay it never hurts to ask!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Europe and I will be forever grateful for the friends I made and for taking me into their homes. I only wish I could repay the favour one day to all of them!

Interests

I love to read. I love to come home after work and just chill out with some of my friends. They are always there to keep me company. I am always planning the next big thing. Like another road trip or swimming event. I am interested in being an activist for a career. I am also interesting in Photography, which is quite new at the moment.

Anything directed by Wes Anderson, A mighty Heart, Scott Pilgrim, Across the Universe, The Breakfast Club, Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Spiderman, The secret Garden. The list is also endless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to El Slavador in December of 2006.

I gave donated gifts from North American families to children in poverish state who had never seen a christmas gift before.

Along with gifts I gave them friendship and love that some of those kids never get to feel from their peers and family.

It changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Go Green! It is the most important thing we can do for our own world. If we help ourselves by reducing the waste of energy we ALSO help our neighbouring provinces/states and countries! If everyone does their own bit like recycling and taking the bus every now and then what a difference it would make! I stopped driving 6 months ago and the only differences I have had to make is that I have to carry around a back pack with me so I can carry my swimming stuff if I need to go work at the pool and any thing else I have to do that day.
I HAVE SAVED SO MANY $$$$$$$
Taking the bus is $40 a month with the occasional cab is another $20.
I SAVE over $250 a month with not driving.

Not that you should stop driving but just decrease the amout you do. If you can take the bus DO IT! It doesn't hurt to get up that extra half an hour earlier just to catch the bus, compared to the difference it would make in the world.
