About Me

I am 22 years old and am taking a break from school to take an adventure abroad. I wanted to learn about diversity and different cultures before pursuing a career in healthcare. My favorite experiences have been meeting local people. Throughout my adventure, I'm amazed at how kind people can be to strangers. I love learning about their cultures and sharing some of mine!

Currently, I'm teaching English in south korea. I love working with children and am constantly laughing at the crazy things they say. I try to get out and do something new each day during my time there. I'm the type of person who is bored sitting inside. I love to explore the places I visit whether it's walking, biking, running, hiking- whatever!

I have only a few months left before going back to the States and want to create as many adventures and memories as possible. Along the way, I hope to make wonderful friends. My philosophy is to seek out opportunities rather than create regrets.

If you've read the book, "What I know for sure," you would understand that I'm trying to answer that question myself. I'm on a quest to understand what's important to me and why I'm doing what I'm doing. Along the way, I'm focusing on being healthy and filling my life with people who will make me a better person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was hiking with some of my friends when we ran into a group of Koreans who invited us for a feast on top of a mountain- ramen, meat, bread, fruit, and vegetables. Who knew a person could fit all of that food in a backpack? They were complete strangers but so generous.
