Overview
About Me
Living in Eugene, OR and working for a nonprofit with youth who are experiencing various struggles. I love to travel and meet people from all over the world! Driving cross-country with my best friend to move back east!
I'm very liberal and easy-going and find that having a meaningful conversation over coffee is the best way to make a human connection.
I am constantly moving and writing and have been published online on sites such as Matador Network and Thought Catalog. I write mostly about cultural observations and travel pieces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a great experience in Europe and am hoping to continue. I think the best way to experience a place is by meeting the people that live there. I hope to be able to exchange cultures, stories, and experiences with people I meet!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music (especially if it's live) including classic rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass, flamenco, indie rock, and all music around the world.
I am a movie buff and love the classics such as Psycho and Ladri di biciclette and new classics like Room and Captain Fantastic. I like the blockbuster's like The Wolf of Wall Street and Silver Linings Playbook and lesser known indie movies like Take this Waltz and Tiny Furniture.
I read as much as possible and am constantly re-reading my favorite book The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. I love memoirs, dramas, and historical fiction.
Girls, Mad Men, Parks and Rec, Schitt's Creek, The Office, Big Little Lies, Orange is the New Black
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
swam in the Dead Sea, walked the alleyways of Marrakesh late at night, fed ice cream cones to a kangaroo, waited 2 days to see a free show in Central Park, went to the Fringe Festival solo, Oktoberfest in Munich, blue cave in Croatia, made real Cuban friends in Viñales, Cuba, ayahuasca and san pedro ceremony in Ecuador
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been on 6 continents and have tons of stories from my travels. I can talk about anything and would love to meet new people!
