About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a Social Work student who lived, worked and studied in the Netherlands for 2,5 years. My specialities are theatre education and philosophy and qualitative research. I enjoy working with kids and young adults because I love to see the world out of different angles - in wich the perspectives of children can always inspire, cheer you up or make you think about the sense of social constructs... Because of my volunteer work as a reader in a kindergarden and as a leader in summer camps I have the possibility to experience these amazing child-perceptions pretty often, and it really enriches my almost adult life.
More about me: I am not very tall, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, outgoing, talkative, creative, a good cook, not smoking - but reading, writing, singing, acting, studying, laughing, feeling.
I am writing a blog where I publish some self-written poetry, texts, music I like and other stuff that inspires me. You can check it out here: (check out my blog! http://manamanabadibidibi.wordpress.com/)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
MY CURRENT MISSION...
is to have a great time with my brother Louis and our mutual friend Dominik on our Interrail trip through Europe. We will start in Switzerland, then head off to Italy, later enjoy Slovenia, Croatia and in the end, Hungary and Austria.
Some more infos about my beloved travel-mates:
Louis, 21, is a culture pedagogics student whose specialities are theatre education & literature together with his passion media education and new media & film. He's funny, outgoing, very creative and fun to hang out with. He also has a great taste in music! He is a real stage performer and prospers in the spotlight, so just give him something to do and he will rock any Open Stage night there is...
Dominik, 23, studies Social Work in the same year as me, is a part-time musician(percussion) and has big plans for his professional future. Like Louis, he is a fun person, at the same time he's very organized and structured. He loves jazz music and going to concerts (whatever kind of music) and is a fantastic discussion partner. With his warm mood, he will always cheer you up!
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really enjoy hosting people and showing them around, this summer I will try being hosted myself!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was kind of couchsurfing through Belgium in 2013, with two spanish guys I hardly knew back then. It was all very spontanious, but the best trip I ever had until now! We travelled through the country by train with our stuff and a guitar and slept at places of friends of friends of friends who were actually amazing people...
I also hosted two lovely guys, when I still lived in the Netherlands. It was a lot of fun showing the city and exchanging crazy travel stories! This made me really love couchsurfing.
