About Me

World-improving mind, dance-loving and big-hearted - this is how I would describe myself.

My family is the most important part in my life. However, I always wanted to see more of the world.

I have studied many different things but finally got to reach my M.A. in Intercultural Communication. Becoming a journalist was the perfect profession for me since it includes what I love: meeting a lot of people, making unique experiences and sharing them by writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some years ago a friend of mine told me she was going to stay at couchsurfing-host for a trip to Berlin. She caught my interest and I wanted to join.

I am ready to meet the great world with CS!

Music: Of course I love Salsa and most types of Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova, Global Pop, also R'n'B and Soul:
- Buena Vista Social Club

- Cesaria Evora
- Sergio Mendes
- Lauryn Hill
- Mahalia
- H.E.R.
- Asa etc etc

However, I am openminded to music, I am also interested in Jazz, Indie and others:
- Norah Jones
- Diana Krall
- Miles Davis
- Benjamin Francis Leftwich
- Jack Johnson
- Bon Iver

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There must have been so many, but just to mention some of the big ones:
- Living and working as Digital Nomad from the Canary Islands
- Starting to learn surfing, contemporary dance and circus acrobatics after having turned 30
- Travelling to Nice with my friends right after our highschool graduation (finally without parents haha)
- Having lived in the United States for a couple months after highschool
- Rome, Sardinia or Lisbon: catching the beauty of new places and getting in touch with the local culture
- When I forgot I was in Berlin while I was dancing Salsa (felt like I travelled to Havanna!)
- Having family, partner and close friends in my life
....and I am waiting for more experiences!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to roll your own delicious summerrolls or to do your first salsa steps.

Having reached my 30's now I think there's still so much I need to learn. One thing for sure is that I want to find out how I can enjoy my life even more than I have done until now.

With other CS travellers I would love to share great new experiences while discovering more parts of the world. And with the real lucky ones I might gonna share my recipe for zucchini brownies ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love making connections to people that I share values with or that can teach me new perspectives about the world. I loving have good conversations, sharing meals and laughing together.
