About Me
CURRENT MISSION
find a new place to live - that's why I can't accept any guests right now, sorry! it's a modest mission, I know =)
ABOUT ME
How could anyone fit all about themselves in this tiny spot?! I can't even imagine the essientials to fit in here.
"Essentials": I couldn't possibly imagine life without my friends and all these lovely people around me. Nor without my rescue dog Zosia, who's been part of and enriching my life since November 2015. I'm very interested in culture(s) and different ways of living and how "culture" (whatever that might be) intertwines with simply evertyhing without people even noticing, really. I try to travel as often as possible and not just see a place but experience it with all its "culture" ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm searching for a new flat to share at the moment, which is a lot harder than I believed it to be as people apparently are reluctant to have a dog in their house... once I've succeeded, though, I'm more than happy to host again!
In the meantime, feel free to ask if I've got time to show you around Görlitz. There's plenty to see and to experience =)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed a couple of times with some friends so far and would not like to miss it any more. It definitely is the best way to thoroughly get to know a place and its people.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movie of all time is Big Fish. There has recently come up a challenger, though: Captain Fantastic.
My favourite band of all time is (or was?) MUSE. Same goes for Adam Green.
My favourite book? That's hard to tell, there's been so many of them. As have been movies and bands, but for some reason I do have favourites there. Anna Karenina would be amongst my favourite books, as would most of Hesse's work, and the first part of Faust.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One summer my former boyfriend and I hiked through the Scottish Highlands, which was simply amazing. Being outside 24h a day and so close to nature - especially such unbelievably beautiful nature - was something I will never forget and aim to experience over and over again!
Also, I have enjoyed plenty of small, "hand made" festivals where everybody was in such a good mood and friendly to people they had never seen before...I wish everybody could be like this everywhere all the time, life would be so much more enjoyable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been desperate to learn how to do poi dances and have tried several times but I fear I'm not patient enough..
I'm still wondering what I could teach people. I'm ok with languages, have studied a lot about dogs now and have just begun to play the viola. Perhaps that's of interest for hosts and guests?
