ABOUT ME

I'm from a small town near the Mississippi in the state of Iowa. I left home for the first time when I was 19 and went on an adventure to see what living in a city was like, and had quite an experience. I was on my way to Vancouver but was turned away at the border leaving me stranded, but through a mutual friend thousands of miles away from home, I was offered a couch to sleep on. Through this couch a mutual friend became a great friendship and was only the beginning of my adventure. I met a bunch of amazing people that I never would have had the opportunity to converse with if it had not been for the moody border patrol agent working the border that night in Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

Diversity may be something that divides us, but it is also what makes the world such a beautiful and interesting place.

Couch surf! and one day have a couch for other's to sleep on, so they too can have the same adventures I am experiencing.

I stayed a few days with an artist named Cheri and some time at her twin sister' Cathy's place across the street, they were pretty cool down to earth people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't say I've done anything that would be considered amazing to most people, but I've had the opportunity to have some great conversations with some of the greatest artists of our time. I've also traveled out on my own into unknown territory, which I think changed my life and perspective for the better. I feel like I am more connected to the world since my adventure, and plan to explore these types of experiences further.
