About Me

I´m a solo traveller for the last 11 months. I was supposed to travel around the world but I felt in love to Asia and was not able to leave it. Before leaving home, I knew I would probably have a very good experience during this trip. What I didn´t know was that I was about to have the best experience of my life. :-)

By the way, I´m photographing people every country I go and, if everything goes fine, I will publish a photography book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I look back, all my best experiences during my travel happened when I was able to connect with local people. I´m looking for rich and meaningful experiences, rather than going to touristic places in order to put a pin on the map. I like to feel the place and to understand how things work. For this reason, I travel with no rush.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing for me...
I hired a guide in Myanmar with 2 motocross bikes. I asked him to take me to a village where there was no tourist at all. He said "I know one but... the road is a kind of... crazy". I said ok but deep inside I was afraid of what the meaning of "crazy" could be as there was a long time since I rode a motorcycle. Well, the meaning of "crazy" was ... CRAZY. The path just did´t exists anymore. Steep rock climbs, Steep descents of gravel, narrow passages by the precipice, all with 2 cheap tires. I arrived at the destination because there was no way to turn back. I just kept going, going and going... and smiling. I couldn't believe I was in that kind of adventure...
And the village... ohhhh my god! The kindest people I have ever met! Walking on the streets, we were invited to have tea about 8 times ( and we accepted:-) . One of the highlights of my trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach photography if you are a beginner or to share if you are experienced. I love to learn everything about local culture, costumes and anything related to daily-life.
