About Me

Soy una persona sociable, simpatica, artistica, y comica.

I am a person who is sociable, friendly, artistic, and funny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always had a passion to travel and experience the world's riches in other people and different cultures, respectfully. I have hosted and been hosted by families in Latin American countries and in Fiji. The experience was rewarding to my heart and I would like to keep making connections!

Interests

Painting, drawing, cartooning, comic books, stand up comedy (people and things who make me laugh in general).

In my free time I like to read, watch movies, hang out with friends, and make visual art. I am adventurous too. When the weather is nice I enjoy riding my bike, hiking, walking, playing in the park.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorites are always changing!

I love a lot of genres of music, but not usually the mainstream kind. The French Kicks, Modest Mouse, Rancid... I love the soul sound like Mayer Hawthorne, Fitz and the Tantrums, Sam Cooke. Sometimes Hip Hop like Atmosphere.

A few favorite movies of mine are: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Zoolander, Juno, Amelie, Pan's Labyrinth.

A childhood favorite is Harry Potter for books. I also enjoy history books and memoirs. Mad Magazine is a funny parody magazine and I like comics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trekked the Abel Tasman for 4 days in New Zealand! It took roughly 8 hours each day and I did NOT shower until the last night (There were no showers available until then). Do not worry, I have good hygiene on a regular basis!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am skilled in the arts and crafts department! I love drawing and making paper creations/collages/origami. I am creative enough to make something out of nearly anything! I am not a professional art teacher, but if you want to learn how to draw or be more artistic, I can definitely help you get started.

If there is a language barrier, at least we can speak art together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A quirky sense of humor, genuine respect, kindness and a good listening ear. I learn a lot from other people and I care to listen to your stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Fiji, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, New Zealand
