I love to travel and I am taking a sabbatical year from my teaching job. I plan to continue working with my middle school via a blog. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. I am easy going and since I host friends when they are coming thru my city, I am mindful of visiting someone's home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have some friends who are couch surfers and I thought it be a neat way to get to know local people throughout my travels this coming year.

As I stated, love to travel and visit interesting places. I enjoy being outdoors, riding a bicycle and yoga. I am also a photographer and being in a new place really inspires me to photograph.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first year traveling in 1997, I was not a US citizen . I was born in Cuba. I was able to travel the world using a travel document , which is not a passport! But I went around the world with this document.

I am a natural teacher, so I enjoy sharing if people would like to participate in meditation and yoga . I am a truth seekers and am very curious about people and their lives. I enjoy sharing a meal, I am a pretty good cook and enjoy being with my friends and family.
