ABOUT ME

Right now I am a twenty-old student studying in Paris, France. Throughout my study abroad experience I have been able to travel to some amazing places both within and outside of France. I have traveled to Europe before, but never for long periods of time and my almost three months on the continent have been fabulous. There is a certain joie de vivre when one experiences another culture and participates in the local practice of any large city or small town. I have been fortunate to stay with an amazing host family in Paris and I can vouch for the fact that any city is best seen with a local or someone who knows the area well. I have an easy-going personality that numerous travel plan changes have helped to create. I love all sports and enjoy going to a bar and watching a rugby or football game. I am in English Literature major at Northwestern so I love going to museums or visiting various bookstores. I love nature and the water and strolling along a lake or river is a favorite past time of mine. All of my friends will say that I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world which I also agree--a good dessert is the fastest way to my heart :) I have good manners, am rather neat and quiet, and I simply want to have a nice time in any way shape or form.

PHILOSOPHY

I was my experiences and my experiences were me, and no blind men, no matter how powerful they became, even if they conquered the world, could take that, or change one single itch, taunt, laugh, cry, scar, ache, rage or pain of it.

I love many different kinds of music from Rock, Pop, French Rock and Pop, Classical Music, some Country, and Altenative Rock. Some of my favorite bands include: Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Blink 182, Juanes, Enrique Iglesias, David Bisbal, Obie Bermudez, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin.

Favorite movies of all time would have to be: A Beautiful Mind, V for Vendetta, Eurotrip, The Valet, and Good Will Hunting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how to cook more things other than eggs, pasts, or rice. I can follow directions rather well so I am always willing to learn! :)

I do speak English and Spanish fluently and my French has greatly improved so I enjoy conversing with others in their native language as well as teaching them mine. I also play a lot of sports I always like to help others improve on their skills or learn a new sport :)
