After graduating High School, I went to Chile to volunteer there for 6 months.
Before, I did a Rotary Youth Exchange to Wisconsin.
So twice, I have been to "the Germany of America" as some people may call it.
I love learning about new cultures and meeting people. It helps me reflect my own ways and what I have picked up only by having Serbian parents or having lived in Germany most of my life. It is interesting how some things can be the very same and others so different in social structures and how you can question everyday traits that have been with you your entire life. Anyway, I like picking up the best of everything!
I guess, CS is a perfect way for doing more of that!

But the really cool things were visiting Magdalena Island and crossing paths with super cute pingüinos, visiting Machu Picchu (and actually surviving that height!), learning Spanish (you know, before I went to Chile, I thought to myself that I cannot ever imagine myself mastering that language), making friends all over the world and still keeping in touch (my dream as a kid was having friends in any corner of the globe).
