About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am infrequently at home-- I travel to work in different surrounding areas and lead a gypsy life. Share your travel dates, I can suggest an alternative or am hopefully available to host!

Interests

I'm interested in the world. To get more specific, anything that puzzles, captivates or shocks me. I try to learn from the difficult and more beautiful things we witness day to day. Living in the DR has shown me the ups and downs of being able to have it all and having hardly anything at all.

More worldly things that interest me include: hiking, listening to live jazz, exploring ruins, discussing psychology, anthropology or sociology, sharing a solid cup of coffee or latte, getting lost, running, dancing in heels, winging my way into festivals, camping, floating my worries off the Caribbean or Atlantic coast, compartir, reading research articles when past colleagues are kind enough to send them my way, WRITING- I maintain 3 journals... and a handful of other diverse things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music means so many different things to me. It's therapeutic, refreshing, life-saving. I put a lot of time into checking out new stuff and re-digging old tunes. Check more out at: https://open.spotify.com/user/1279769095

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Collectively, I spent a great deal of time in Mexico. Torreon, Coahuila is my most favorite place and where my parents are from. I had the freedom to explore the streets, antros and taco stands growing up. I would not trade these years for anything.
