About Me
Currently living in Spain.
(Insert stereotypical millennial description of travelling, finding oneself and free spirits)
No, but really.
I'm Ana, I'm 21 and I like to think I'm way tougher than I really am.
I love travelling even though I'm scared of flying and I love people even when I hate them. Surviving off carbs and red wine, trying to see how far in life that'll get me (white wine is great, too). The best adventures happen when everything goes wrong, you lose your phone, your umbrella breaks and you turn left at the second traffic light instead of right. Love to talk, love to listen, can't sing - but that doesn't seem to stop me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like mostly everyone here, I'd like to meet & connect with people while finding (and in turn offering) a place to sleep. The best way to experience a place is through the eyes of the locals.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes vary from "Check this out!" to "Please don't judge me...". It's an eclectic mix of both good and bad.
Alice Cooper, The Offspring, Guano Apes. Robbie Williams, Childish Gambino, Amanda Palmer. Halsey, Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine. Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Beyonce.
I have a soft spot for musicals and romantic comedies. I like aesthetically pleasing movies and I don't find Jim Carrey funny. I know the dialogues in Mamma Mia by heart, not even sorry.
Loved the MaddAddam trilogy by Margaret Atwood. *Almost* finished A Song of Ice and Fire. A sucker for historic romance novels, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got involved with youth exchanges through the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme - first as a participant, later as one of the organisers. Youth work has proven to be exhausting yet one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done.
I also camped around the island of Corsica, that was kinda cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can offer short Slovenian language lessons and explain how dual form fits right between singular and plural. History, myths, legends and drinking customs as well, if you're interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An undying curiosity and a resilient sense of humour. Can't really cook, but can try my best!
