About Me

Portuguese artist studying in China, ocasional writer. Moving back to Portugal in June and hopefully going to continue my studies in Ireland in September.
I'm half Portuguese half French but I still don't know with which culture I identify myself the most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and it's a very nice and simple way of meeting new people and getting a more real experience of the place I am visiting (if you know what I mean).

Interests

Music and art, cooking, reading, writing and staring at white walls.

Music, Movies, and Books

Into rock and metal but also enjoy classical music. I've studied in a music school for 7 years, first I learned the classical guitar and then the electric bass, I stopped playing since I came to China because of lack of time, tho.
I like pretty much all movie types but animation has a special place on my heart and one of my life dreams is to be able to work in the production of one.
I've written two short movies scripts for some projects.
Books are my life, I read everything except sports magazines.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer work is one of the thing I do on my free time. Worked for the Red Cross for two years in Portugal, I've been a volunteer in an autistic center in Changshu since I arrived to China (almost two years ago), I worked with Habitat for Humanity in Yunnan province last year and now I'm doing a travel guide about a tourist village, also in Yunnan, with some friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Fluent in 3 languages (Portuguese, French and English) and can speak more 2 (Spanish and an amount of Chinese that is enough to survive). I've had some really interesting experiences in my life that I won't mind sharing and I'm an extremely good listener. I basically like to learn new things about everything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Open minded person that enjoys deep conversations. I'm extremely good at organizing and cleaning and I don't mind helping around the house. Cooking is also one of my passions and I can offer recipes for all over the world.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, China, France, Germany, India, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Swaziland

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Portugal
