Overview
About Me
As an under-graduated architecture student, my university in Sao Paulo (Brazil) believes that young architects should travel to experience different cultures, which means understand not only different ways to build houses and cities, but also different ways of life itself.
This is why I'm currently doing an internship in the Philippines. :-)
I love to travel: I love meeting new people from different cultures, so we can share our experiences and think about our human life while drinking some beers. I believe that everybody has something to share and I just love to learn with people.
I also love being surrounded by nature. It really makes me happy. The beauty of an open ocean, the strength of a waterfall and the color of the sky during sunset and sunrise are things that I can't never get used to - and I'm glad to feel this way.
My main interest is sustainable ways of living. We are destroying our planet and, therefore, our selfs. This is why I believe and I try my best to get more and more involved to permaculture, meditation and vegan cooking. With mindfulness I believe we start to change inside out and life gets better not only for you, but for everybody in every way.
:-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that traveling is not only about seeing beautiful landscapes, but also meeting local people and understanding a new culture.
We are social beings. Once we share, specially with different kinds of people from all over the world, we can think beyond our box and get out of our comfort zone. By doing that, we learn how to listen to each other, how to respect different opinions, cultures and religions - even if you don't agree with it. It is just a beautiful thing to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16, I decided to live in Australia for a while by myself. I was so young, but something inside of me just really wanted to get out and see the world with my own eyes - and so I did! It was a huge step for me and I'm glad that I did it. I had an amazing time, specially because I was aware of my daily choices: it was the first time that I realized how powerful and meaningful life is. It was also during that time that I discovered my passion about traveling and hanging out with different people. I made friends for life, they enjoy as much as me to share experiences and this is why no matter how we change or where we are, we'll always be really good friends. This Australian experience really changed the way I see life. :-)
