About Me

Hi! My name is Ana, but friends call me Ani. I'm from mexico and yes, as every mexican I love to met a lot of people and to share time with friends.

I study marketing and french in México and to practice the language I'm doing a semester abroad in France!

While I am studious, I also love to go out, meet new people, try new foods, and explore the city! I also love cooking and traveling as much as my wallet allows me to haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to experience the culture from inside.
I think there's nothing’s more authentic than an actual local recommending places or telling you about his favorite activities in the city. At least this way you can get a better sense of what it’s like to walk around in the shoes of a local even if just for a few days.

Also when most people travel, they’re surrounded by their own friends and family. They eat with them, sleep in the same hostel/hotel rooms with them, ride the train with them, and go to bars with them. Sometimes I travel this way too, and sometimes it can be fun. But it’s not the greatest I love meeting new persons!

Interests

I love my career and I have some start up business going on!
I can't be without doing something that can have a positive impact in society.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love latin music! (yes, I dance to salsa while cooking, cleaning, getting ready) I'm the whole mexican stereotype haha.

Movies.. uhm.. animation films! I love the work of animators so I spend the whole movie analyzing the movement of the vectors of the characters haha yep, geek alert!

And books.. I do podcast instead haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I skydived 17000 ft and survived !!!

Teach, Learn, Share

One day with me and you can learn some spanish slag, some latin dance steps and get some mexican double sense humor :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer the best positive vibe I usually have.
(oh, and I can share some of the salsa I always carry in my bag)
