About Me

I'm a cheerful girl who loves travelling with friends, family or alone, I don't care at all.
I'm half Spanish and half Finnish. I was born in the Canary islands but moved to Estepona, a city in the province of Malaga, when I turned 11.
I was one year iving in Ulm (Germany) last year as an Erasmus student.
Right now I'm living in Co. Clare (Ireland) as an au pair while studying my masters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I would love to visit new places and get to know new cultures from the point of view of the locals. It's also an easy way to meet new people.

Interests

I love to take pictures of everything, I always bring my camera with me. Give me a beautiful sunset and I'll be the happiest person in the world.
I don't need too much to be amazed, I like historical cities, but also cute little towns. I give a great value to the atmosphere, not just to the monuments. But natural parks are what I like the most. I cannot die without seeing the amazing sceneries of Iceland, Norway, Croatia... And that's only in Europe!! In some years I would like to plan a big vacation and visit New Zeland and Australia, that's definitely my dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: depends on my mood. I usually just put the radio on. Singers that I like are Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Jessie J, Beatles...
Movies: Dead poets society, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, What's Eating Gilbert Grape?. To be honest, I also love romantic comedies.
Books: it's hard to choose just one, but I cryed a lot with "The book thief" and I have grown up with Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Mexico with my classmates was definitely the best. We visited Riviera Maya with its wonderful beaches, the pyramids of Chichen Itza, the Tulum ruins... And of course, a lot of parties and good atmosphere.
But you don't need to go so far in order to do something spectacular. One ofthe nicest trips I've ever done was to Aínsa, in the north of Spain. We were hiking and canyoning always surrounded by an extremely beautiful scenery.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cannot share my house, as I don't live in my own house, but I would be pleased of being your guide in case you want to visit the Clare or Estepona once I'm back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will offer to my host a red-cheek face with a shy smile at the beginning, but after introducing ourselves and a couple of questions I'll be ready to talk about anything :)
