Overview
About Me
I am a girl from Galicia, currently living in Madrid. I graduated medical school last may, after studying for the past 7 years also here in Madrid.
I’m a very open-minded person, talkative and interested in many different things. I am keen on music, art, cinema (I love TV shows!) and I love the Internet and the great things you can discover on it. I am never bored.
I have worked as a waitress for a year in Portugal and I volunteered as a meal server in a home for an NGO since I was 16 years old until I turned 20.
I love travelling and discovering new cultures. I have spent most of my holidays abroad: I went to Berlin for a summer, enjoyed a language exchange program in Boston during one month and took an interesting course in Toulouse a few years ago. I train traveled in Europe for weeks and spent all my savings visiting impressive spots. I've visited most of the countries in Europe and I'm looking forward to discover many different places in the years to come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have heard about this network when I was living in Oporto during my Erasmus year in 2015. Some of my flatmates told me about this platform and the great experiences they had thanks to it, and that is the reason why I decided to use it on a trip. I hitchhiked for a month in Portugal and Couchsurfed there with a friend, but we used her account and that's why I look like new on the platform. I find travelling not just an experience of knowing a place but also knowing the people living in it. That's why I find CouchSurfing so interesting. I love to know locals and their way of living and also sharing a bit of my culture in exchange.
