I'm a happy, fun-loving, upbeat, well educated & career driven gal. I was born in Mexico city and have lived in Canada, Mexico, Spain, India & currently based in Jordan.

I love to explore the world (70+ countries). Always fun to meet interesting people & share a laugh and experience new cultures - having a foundation of mutual respect :)

I am very interested in women's empowerment and gender equality and after 20 years of working for the private sector, this past January 2017 I found the courage to quit my job and start my own consulting practice focusing on gender mainstreaming renewable energy projects. I find very fascinating the links between solar energy and gender. I am super excited to be working on what I love!

My first 2 projects are based in Jordan. My next project may be in your region, I have ample range of geographical coverage with my consulting business. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined because while traveling solo in Iran, i met a French couple that was spending the day with a local and they told me about the "hang out" feature of this app. What a great way to meet other travellers or locals and really have fun learning about the culture, history and people of the country.
