I am an open and talkative person - but of course I would say that, you'll have to meet me to see if I'm telling the truth :)

The traveling bug bit me pretty late (well, relatively, I'm still in my twenties) and now I am making up for all the time I could be traveling but wasn't.

When I am traveling I end up being on a castle hunt wherever I go. One of my dreams is having my own castle, complete with a dragon of course. I spent half of my childhood running around with a wooden sword, fighting the injustice done to my collection of teddy bears and dolls, so I think promotion to a full blown knight is imminent.

I love a bit of back story with every place I visit, be it in the form of legends or historic tales and I appreciate it if a local is willing to share the history of a place with me.

I pretty recently discovered couchsurfing but I love the idea of getting to know the city from locals instead of guidebooks. And all the good stories I hear about the experiences on cs make it even more appealing.

Sadly I cannot host at the moment but I am always happy to go for an ice cream or a beer and a walk around the city.

Obviously I love to travel and meet new people as that is why I'm here, so let's just get that one out of the way first :) I also love fantasy in all forms, but am mostly addicted to books. I wish I spent more time playing board games. I love eating ice cream in winter. I am a huge admirer of the nonchalance of cats, but love dogs equally. I love to find not often visited attractions as having your own castle or cliff, even for just a few minutes, is amazing. I love being silly from time to time. I aspire to having my own library one day (and I am making good progress!). I love to stay up late chatting with my friends about life, the universe and everything and sleep through the whole morning without guilt. I am amazed by the technological leaps we are making and love to hear people talk about them even if I end up understanding 10%. I would love to own a robot spider one day. I recently got addicted to lindy hop and am always on a lookout for a good swingout.
