About Me
Some background about me:
I have lived in Puerto Rico my entire life and when I graduated from high school I went to study Biology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I took one year off and traveled all over myself (to 35 countries). After finishing my bachelor's, I am now pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Sciences and I call Memphis, Tennessee home.
I love being outdoors and walking around the cities and places I visit. My favorite part about traveling is getting to know other people and their cultures - having those personal connections and getting to know others' stories makes me happy. In the process I believe you also learn some things about yourself. . I love to share my experiences and stories with other people; hope I can share them with some hosts or other couch surfers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the connections you make while traveling are some of the most valuable. I love to hear other peoples' stories as well as share my own.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very open in music taste. I kind of like a bit of everything. I also enjoy latin music a lot like salsa, merengue and reggaeton given the fact they're all coming from Puerto Rico!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived with an indigenous community in rural Ecuador where I taught locals and students English! It was such an amazing experience and even learned some words in Kichwa (the native language in Otavalo, Ecuador).
I ran my first half-marathon in New Zealand - now I'm off to 4 half-marathons and will start training for my first full-marathon.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some salsa and merengue dance lessons if you'd like!
