Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am sort of a beginner at CS. I hope to have people stay over, and also plan to surf more.

Interests

Languages, nature (volcanoes, mountains, freezing things), backpacking, camping, trekking, cooking, travelling, bird watching... Ok, I'm a big nerd, who enjoys books, movies and music (oh, they have a section for that).

Music, Movies, and Books

Mo: Herzooooog!
Mu: Rock, African traditional music, classical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having visited several countries, I think it is sufficient to say that I have been the quite the itinerant. However if I had to choose a memory that defines me, it would be from my last trip to the Amazon forest. There, we visited a monumental cave hard to reach, access forbidden, imposing obscurity. Where some dared not to enter more than just a few meters, my fiancé and I gladly explored. Having nothing but a small flashlight, we walked for 15 minutes engulfed in pitch black darkness surrounded by spiders, bats and crickets. When we finally reached a place where we could not go any further, we stopped. And then suddenly, something hit me – not the silence, not an over-friendly bat – but the uncanny feeling of all the people from the past who had once trekked through that cave. I wished I could have met them, maybe even heard their voices… but I had to keep going.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a language that only 30 people speak;
